So, you may have noticed that I haven’t posted anything for a few weeks. I’ve also not been on my Instagram. Basically, I ran out of pre-written blog posts and then couldn’t bring myself to write any more. My mental health has taken a dip recently and I’ve been using what remaining energy I have on other ‘projects’.
I probably won’t be back to posting regularly for a little while, but I’m going to try and get some posts in here and there. Writing has been a good release for me for the past couple of years and I won’t ever give it up completely, but now and then I need to just take a step back and look after myself.
I had a mental health set back today and I started thinking about my blog and questioning whether I want to carry on, and I do! I just thought I should write a quick explanation as to why I’ve been a bit M.I.A recently.
I mentioned that I’ve been a little preoccupied recently with some other projects. You all know about BandiaShop which I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, I’ll leave that post here. But I’ve also started something else, something I’m really excited about. I’ve started my own online shop selling great quality, affordable art materials! I have an Etsy shop and a new Instagram. It’s called ‘Make it arty’ and I’ve already made my first sale, which is a pretty big deal for me. I’ve tried to make my materials the cheapest around and I’d really love it if you’d check it out. If you’re an artist or even a beginner wanting to have a go, I have you sorted. I’ll have a lot more products coming soon and if there is something you’re after specifically then please request it! I’m really excited about this adventure and I’d love for you to join me. I’ll leave all the links to my shop and Instagram at the end of this post.
I’ve also been working on a website for my Mum and her art recently. If you want to check it out then the link will be at the end!
When I’m feeling down I only have so much energy to do things so some things get left behind and unfortunately this time it was my blog. I still enjoy reading other peoples blogs I come across on my Twitter. But I’ll be in and out with my blog for at least a few months. Thank you for bearing with me. I appreciate it all.
