I’ve got quite a few books I really want to read next. I’ve mentioned a couple of them in this challenge, so they’ll be next probably.
I really intend to read a book called ‘Mythos’ by Stephen Fry. We all know Stephen Fry is a very clever and funny guy, so his take in the dark and tragic Greek Myths is just something I don’t want to miss out on. I love him, and mythology, so what’s not to like? I can’t think of anything, anyway. This is on my ‘next up’ list, top of it really. I’ll let you know what I think, but I already know I’m going to be recommending it to everyone I know.
I also want to read ‘Vanity Fair’ by William Thackeray. I saw the new TV show advertised on ITV and thought now would be a good time to read it. I haven’t got round to it yet, I also haven’t started the show yet either. I was stuck in a dilemma of whether to watch the show then read the book, or read the book then watch the show. I’m still deciding. What would you do?
I own loads of books I haven’t read yet, so I’m slowly going to work my way through them. I always try to read the books I already own before buying new ones, but that never seems to work. Every time I go shopping I end up in Waterstones and leave with at least one book. One day I’ll learn, I hope.
Have you got any recommendations for me? I’d love to know some of the things you guys like to read.
Thanks for reading!
